I found the web site difficult at times took a long time to access and did loose contact more than once

Very puzzled as to why Comet displayed items as in stock and sent us 2 e-mails confirming our order, yet by the Sunday (delivery day) they were having problems with stock and had supposedly tried to contact us by phone. When we phoned the day after (all lines unavailable after delivery time was overdue) and queried why they hadn't emailed if they'd had problems with phoning, they tried to claim they had, when it was obvious this had just been made up on the spot. Also, why no call on the day of delivery whne they knew we'd be waiting in all day?

The delivery man had his own agenda and was determind that we could only have the oven when he wanted to deliver it, no matter what the order on the website or the guy on the phone said, and that proved to be the case.Booking a delivery slot or even a delivery day is pointless!!!The cooker is fine.
The only difficulty I had with the purchase was that the "print page" did not work. I have printed the confirmation email but even that chopped off the right edge - could only see half the item price.All else has been excellant.

Excellent purchase experience, I will be using Comet online again.
Thank you for a simple, clear and easy to use website, and especially for delivering to a Scottish island at no cost! I will tell everyone here to use Comet as so many others either don't deliver here at all or charge ridiculous fees.

because i have a local store i am just as likely to pop in there as to shop on line.because the site has idiot proof directions it is always a pleasant experience.but may i say that your in store staff particularly in the speke store, are without exception,polite,welcoming courteous and knowledgeable,and score always 20 out of 10 from this highly satisfied customer.
have been a comet customer for many years and purchased different types of goods.whether on line or in store, choice ,service and in the case of in store purchases,customer service has always been exemplary.have strayed only once to another well known supplier and regretted it.thank you.

order tracking unavailable due to some conflict between paypal and your system changing my surname in your system. Contacted CS who gave tracking info, but were not able to sirt me out with my own tracking....
I was delighted that you accepted PayPal as a payment method.On the computers and laptops pages, the tech specs of the devices are somewhat buried, and relevant information is quite disjointed. For example, that the laptop has 4GB of RAM is shown in one place, that it is DDR3 ram is shown somewhere else and not all of it is particularly well labelled.

£70 to install a £300 gas cooker is too expensive
advised free delivery but its an all day slot and next one was 8 days away

as stated previously, product was priced very well but delivery ( time scale), let you down. item was in stock at local store but delivery took three weeks.
delivery was the biggest issue. item was in stock at my local store but could`nt deliver for two weeks. very poor.

I was originally concerned by the estimated delivery time, which potentially could have been within in the space of 11 hours. However, the item arrived 1 hour 40 minutes after it's earliest scheduled time, which was pleasing.
The Comet website was very easy to use, and the prices were cheaper than other similar websites. The only disappointing aspect was the 11 hour window for deliveries at the weekend.

Excellent trouble free purchase, driver very helpful, rang to say on his way.all round good experience.
