Very good easy to negotiate website.Good quality item at a good price , disapointed regarding size adaptions what where not available without buying a foam kit .
Never had a major problem with Halfords

having made my order on line and received an e-mail to say the item was ready for collection that day, I was contacted by the local store to say that the product was not in stock and that I shpould not have been able to proceed with the order on line, however they have checked and that head office had the item in stock and the store should received delivery the next day and that they would contact me if it arrived. The next day I did not receive a call but because I was shopping in the area I called on the off chance that delivery had been made. The item had not arrived. I was given the opportunity to take the display model or wait until the item was in stock. Although there were a couple of scratches and a small dent (which would not be seen when set up) I took the display model. Staff at the local shop were very helpful and a credit to Halfords
The offer for my purchase ended today Bank Holiday Monday not wanting to travel six miles to the store when I know there would be traffic delays, I ordered online at the offer price and am able to collect the following day thereby saving on time and travel. (supermarket shopping tomorrow) Thank you Halfords

I reserved the product a tool chest online & was impressed with the text & call from the store to say that it was ready. I had to delay collecting & again this was very easy to do.I collected three tool chests in total due to having to return the first two which were damaged.I was impressed with the staff who were helpful & a noticeable improvement from the past, but the fact that the chests were badly damaged & it was a struggle to find a decent one dosen't say much for the packing or delivery of the product.I had repack and transport a quite heavy item on two occasions which didn't impress me.
I have reserved an item, so the delivery question dosen't apply. I have been looking at the item for some while & due to it now being discounted by 30% made my mind up to get it.

the sat nav had a scratch on the screen i phoned customer service and the person i spoke to was very helpful and has arranged a replacement for me i would most definitely use halfords again and recommend them.
the staff are very helpful especially john and dave Bradly at your corwall st shop in plymouth.

I picked up my purchase from my nearest store at Conswater, Belfast. The staff could not have been more helpful! A very good shopping experience.Thank you.
Surcharge for delivery to NI was a bit steep and not very clear on the website. I had to call customer service for help.

I reserved the product online but actually collected it instore and although I could not collect it when I SHOULD HAVE DONE i WAS TELEPHONED AND ASKED IF i WANTED AN extension on the reservation,which I did,the only downside was that I wasnt offered help with setting up my purchase.

i ordered the tool box that showed it was it stock, went to collect on sat but there was no tool box there for me, was offered another top box at twice the amount of the one i ordered which included a roll cab but the one offered was just a top box. so i cancelled my order
i like halfords as there is a fare selection of tools

I was bombarded with notifications when I did online 'reserve & collect',viz. two text messages and a 'phone call in quick succession, each advising me that the goods were ready for collection. This rather overdid the customer communications, I felt.
Your website is very slow to respond - probably due to number of items in the database. At times in the past I have given up waiting and looked elsewhere.However I found the Watford in-store staff helpful today on satnav queries.

Purchase arrived 2 days earlier than expected, which was a nice surprise. The whole experience was a pleasure and I would recommend the great service I experienced. Well done Halfords.
